Montana MyFWP is the official E-tagging app for the State of Montana. Easily access all your Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks hunting and fishing E-tags, licenses, and permits from your mobile device.

Key features include: E-tags instead of paper carcass tags; download and validate your E-tag in-app; present your validated E-tags, licenses, and permits to FWP law enforcement in the field; and keep all licenses in one paperless location on your mobile device. Important notes: validate your E-tag before moving a carcass; show your validated E-tag to officers when requested; by Montana law, no GPS location data is shared with FWP.

I tried for half an hour to get my als number verified so I could go fishing with my fiancé. Wouldn’t work so I had to change to their website where it worked first try. I’m so glad that fwp decided that we can’t go purchase a license in person. Thank you for wasting my time. Have a bad day

Couldn’t get my ALs verified so it just sucks

I have a license as I have for thirty years. Also the same ALS#. Site won’t allow a simple app download claiming ALS is linked to someone else. Quite a poorly managed site.
