Rhino delivers a complete guitar rig inside a single Chrome extension. It starts with INPUT featuring a noise gate, three signal characteristics, and low-pass filtering, then a PREAMP section with six models, four pedal boosters with separate blending, a 3-band tone stack, and 2-band filtering. The PREAMP EFFECTS add four more boosters with independent blending.

Next comes EQ with Tone Matching: a 4-band graphic EQ and tone matching with three tone types. Mod FX includes flanger, chorus, and phaser; Time FX covers echo, three delays, algorithm reverb, and convolution reverb. The CAB section has a 4-file impulse response mixer and a Power Amp module with three characteristics. Finally, OUTPUT provides low-end dynamics control and a limiter, and TUNER offers accurate, fast tuning.

I think this is a great sounding app. I just recently purchased the app and I’m still learning its functionality. I gave it four stars, because it would be great for the app to have a stage preset selection for live playing, like most other amp sim apps. Also, it would be great if the developers add a setting where the app stays open and prevents the iPad screen from locking.

When you outgrow tonebridge, tonex, GigFast, and primo, get Rhino. There’s lots to learn here before moving onto a multifx app (I recommend yonac's) and the open world of auv3 and hosts (AUM/audiobus/sessions/loopy). Suggestions: ability to lock input and gate settings (or any section) when changing presets, and easier to tap on/off buttons. (I have to turn off the input each time I use a built in preset because the gate/input settings don’t fit my pickups.)
