I love the service but the app is horrible—if you want to use 2FA, you have to use a hardware security key (no support for TOTP). Worse, unlike other financial apps, the platform does not allow the app to become [even temporarily] authorized as a second factor. This means that every time you use the app, you have to [find &] use your hardware security key—in which case (unless you carry your key with you everywhere) you might as well just use your desktop browser. At the very least, Daffy should support TOTP. But really the app should be come a second factor once an existing second factor is presented. Do better, Daffy.

At the beginning of 2026, we used Daffy to effectively prepay a year’s worth of donations to our church. That prepayment is immediately a charitable contribution for tax purposes. It doesn’t matter if you simply keep the funds with Daffy or set up monthly draws, which is what we do. No credit cards or checks needed by us to send to our church. The app shows when checks are sent and if the church deposited those checks. The fee of $3/m offsets what we’d otherwise pay in postage! Since our funds are put into the most aggressive funds, those gains far more offset this $3, and not having to deal with it monthly is a major time saver. We love Daffy!
