Pixelistick turns real paintings into puzzles.

Every artwork is laid out as a grid of pixel tiles. Scattered through it are key tiles, and each one hides a small puzzle. Solve a key tile and that corner of the painting comes into focus — colour spreading outward, tile by tile, until the whole picture is yours.

The idea comes from pointillism, the technique Georges Seurat invented: thousands of tiny dabs of colour that only resolve into a picture once you step back.
