Let me start by saying I really wanted to love this concept. We have had our wine for 5 years it hasn’t grown not a penny. But has depreciated in value. And we have to pay maintenance fees for storage. When you ask for the “just ship my wine option” cause at this point let’s just have a party and cut our losses. They will ship at $250 for a 6 bottle shipment. Why not just put 12 bottles together? Nope they won’t mix the case. Even if you ask so now you’re looking at $1000 just to ship the wine. Then we figure fine we’ll just sell it. It sits for weeks trying to sell. Then the message if you sell it at a discount it may sell. So months later and at a $1000 loss because that’s how low we had to go to unload it. But wait there’s more. We now have to wait 90 days before we can even access our own money from the sale. Was it worth it? No it wasn’t. They don’t tell you about the headache and hoops you need to go through on the end part just focusing on the “how fun to own a rare wine and sell it for profit when it becomes even more rare.” If you want rare wine buy it and store it yourself. Your local boutique liquor store will have better luck selling it for you than this platform.

Impossible to turn a profit unless you pick that 1 in 1000 wine that goes parabolic due to the ridiculous fees, and don’t think about getting them shipped unless you own a full case so if theres no liquidity for the wine you buy you have no option but to sell super low.
