Sun Metro’s app is truly ahead of its time — it’s mastered the ability to take your money without the inconvenience of actually giving you the bus pass you paid for. And if you’re lucky enough to call customer service, you’ll be treated to an attitude problem like it’s part of the premium experience. Maybe instead of squeezing money out of riders for nonexistent passes, Sun Metro should try investing in an app that actually works and employees who know how to speak to paying customers without acting annoyed that they called for help.
