Mostly, my problem is that the login doesn’t work reliably on iPhone. The app regularly loses my login, resulting in having to sign in and “transfer” my purchased tickets from “another device.” Google friends don’t seem to have the issue. App frequently softlocks when trying to activate a ticket, requiring me to kill the app and start it back up to show my ticket. The real-time indicators for the trains are unreliable. Good idea, but if it’s not reliable it is not useful. And the notifications that let you know about service issues disappear forever when you try to view them. I like SunRail and I like the feature set of the app, but I wish it was a little better at what it does

The app needs some love and attention. You will get notifications of train delays but when you open the app, you cannot see the notifications. You actually have to go out to the website to see them. If they do any work at all behind the scenes, the app loses your tickets and will tell you that they exist on another device and ask you if you want to retrieve them. This happened for weeks recently. The app is functional most of the time, it just needs a little love to be great.
