User Reviews

Users largely praise the app for ease of use, quick PD checks, and features like voice instructions and seg height measurements. A recurring theme is unreliable accuracy: many reviews report inconsistent results across attempts and significant deviation from optician measurements (off by 4–6 mm, 20% off). Several caution against using it for prescriptions, and a few report crashes or inaccurate frame-size guidance. Overall, it’s convenient but not dependable for professional eyewear prescriptions.
Pros
  • Accurate and precise PD measurements.
  • User-friendly and easy to use interface.
  • Convenient for pocket on-the-go PD checks.
  • Voice-guided instructions for measuring.
  • Includes seg height measurement.
Cons
  • PD results are often inaccurate and vary across attempts.
  • Not reliable for prescription decisions; should be verified by an optician.
  • Results frequently do not match optician’s measurements.
  • App stability issues (crashes).
  • Frame size recommendations can be inaccurate.

I love the actual preciseness of the app.

My PD is 67 and this gave me 56 after measuring 3 times. It also recommended extra small frame when I always need extra large frames
