Austin Speech Labs, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, built Phonology to support speech recovery practice for stroke survivors and other people working on speech and auditory comprehension skills.

Created from years of clinical speech therapy experience, Phonology helps users practice listening, matching, producing speech sounds, saying words and phrases, and tracking progress over time. It can be used with a therapist, caregiver, or independently between therapy sessions.

Phonology starts with core sound practice and expands into structured modules for words, phrases, numbers, places, auditory memory, saved recordings, custom practice lists, and detailed progress review. Profiles, scores, recordings, and transcripts are stored on the device.
