Update after dev response - in order to get the ads to work, you can’t just pause your VPN, you have to completely disconnect it in settings. Glad it works now, but it’s a hassle. Why do the ads need to know specifically where I am? :P Original review: I love the idea of gamifying language learning, but the energy system sucks unfortunately. I can watch the ads fine, but the X button doesn’t work. I can’t get back to the game after and have to close out the app after. Then the energy isn’t updated. So I watched an ad for free. :( I’m on an iPhone 16 Pro running iOS 26.6.1. Hopefully this is fixed soon.
