The Motorola Nursery iOS app is plagued by reliability issues. The camera itself can be good, and the app is easy to use when it works, but users report persistent video load failures, unstable connections, and laggy performance. Device compatibility problems, especially on iPhone, worsen the experience. The paid cloud storage model also causes frustration, with past events not reliably saved. Security concerns about eavesdropping are also noted.

Recent reviews

It is ok. When you are on a live view it’s good at best. When you’re not? It’s a 1/5. The camera quality isn’t good. Even though I pay for the subscription the clips are incredibly short. They are grainy. For some reason it demands access to your entire camera roll to save photos/videos which is wild. Every other app you can either limit access, or use “private access” where you can see them but they aren’t shared. Why does Motorola want to access 50k photos from the last 15 years of every moment of my life for me to download a clip? It’s insane. Just feels like the app is from 2005 and not catching up to the rest of us in 2026.
