MyEHC Caregiver enables Encompass Health inpatient rehabilitation patients and designated caregivers to securely follow a patient’s rehabilitation program. The app shows real-time progress toward goals and provides an overview of the care plan, with updates from the care team based on the individual plan.

TRACK

Follow the patient’s stay and progress toward goals in mobility, self-care, cognition and behavior, and daily living activities.
See the anticipated discharge date and plan for discharge with instructions, such as discharge diagnosis, nursing and therapy instructions, follow-up appointments, medications, and home care details.

Invite others to follow along with the patient’s rehabilitation journey.
Allow the patient’s legal representative to grant access to trusted observers.

Access to the app is available up to 14 days after discharge.

User reviews for MyEHC Caregiver are largely negative. The most recurring issues are sign-up/in problems, repeated connectivity errors, crashes or load failures, and sparse or outdated data. Support is commonly described as poor or nonexistent. Platform inconsistencies between iOS and Android also frustrate users. The app’s caregiving collaboration concept is appealing in theory, but chronic reliability and usability problems substantially undermine its value.

There is a capability to invite multiple viewers (up to 20) to monitor progress.
Some users report that, when successfully logged in, patient progress is visible.

This app is completely unhelpful. I am at the encompass facility and cannot log in, and the staff cannot figure out what the issue is….so even the staff cannot set this useless app up.
