User Reviews
The actual video playback can be a little shaky at times, pretty good app overall

This app has really helped me with my fear of flying. I really appreciate all the information and breathing exercises and I love how they allow you to work your way up from driving to an airport to turbulence. I used it every day for six weeks before a long flight and had almost zero anticipatory anxiety and I handled the flight well. I’m impressed. I asked them for additional videos and they said more are coming. I am going to stick with this!
Also, I think some of the negative reviews on here are fake or these people are negative for no reason. The videos are very clear and this does provide exposure therapy - without having to get on a plane. My experience is extremely positive.

The bottom line is that this VR app worked for me. It empowered me to overcome a late-in-life fear of driving on mountain roads. I drove mountain roads in Pennsylvania on an average of 3,000 miles per year over a period of 25 years without any anxiety. Then, in 2023, I climbed up to the (Anasazi) Cliff Palace in Mesa Verde, Colorado and came close to having a panic attack. I tried but was unable to drive the main road out of the park as the high elevation overlooks visible around the curves was unnerving. Thereafter, I experienced anxiety on any road or highway that entailed long views and drop offs - this included Interstate highways equipped with guardrails. This anxiety continued even when I was a passenger. I began using this App in May of this year for a period of four months. In September, during a visit to New Mexico, I experienced no anxiety on some of the mountain roads but I wasn't fully convinced of the success of the oVRcome program. So, last week (November) I decided to test it. The mountain road I chose turned out to be very narrow with non-stop hairpin curves and switchbacks, steep drop offs, no berms and no guard rails. I drove about 4 miles and then 4 miles back down. My anxiety did increase over the drive but at no time did I have the unrelenting feeling that I was powerless to keep from driving off the road and over the cliff. This is why I say oVRcome worked for me. I credit my success to its combined education, especially on self-talk and breathing which I employed while driving, with the VR videos that must have worked on my subconscious mind. One last comment: be persistent in your use of the app. Oh, and don't climb up to see the Cliff Palace.
