User Reviews

Users like the app for its easy, fast application process, quick online onboarding and activation, and positive personal support, plus solid value via cashback and access to home equity. However, recurring concerns center on a buggy app and reliability issues, questions around transparency of terms and promos, limited account activity visibility and data export options, and inconsistent customer support responsiveness. Overall, the product shows strong onboarding and value, but needs stability, clearer disclosures, better data access, and improved support.
Pros
  • Very easy, quick application and fast approval (often instant) with 100% online onboarding.
  • Easy card activation and onboarding through the app.
  • Helpful, real-person customer support.
  • Strong value: competitive offers and cash back (e.g., 3% cashback) plus access to a home equity line (HELOC).
Cons
  • The app is frequently buggy and unreliable (Face ID not working, passwords reset often, autopay updates fail, and payments can freeze).
  • Transparency and trust concerns around terms and promos (claims like 100 months interest-free APR appear misrepresented, with unclear disclosures).
  • Limited visibility and data/export options for account activity (can't see charges/payments easily, no export to Quicken, budgeting app integrations poor due to Plaid).
  • Customer support and responsiveness can be slow or limited (delayed activations, long hold times, need more representatives).

I called in to take advantage of the 100 months interest free apr. I asked the rep on the phone what does it mean on the first 1000 he stated 1000 at a time. He kept beating around the bush and stated we wont know until you apply. It’s not true your first 1000 is interest free the rest is at 18% be vary care this bank doesn’t have to be transparent as big banks.

The application and all is a breeze the app on the other hand wasn’t. It’s very simple and that’s the problem. Example, on the notification setting, really there is only one setting. No options where or how to send notifications. I had two transactions and I didn’t receive any text or email about my cards activities. So there still room for improvements and I hope they do it soon.
