The Archibus Mobile Client 4.0 is for use with Web Central version 26.3 and later.

The Archibus Mobile Client grants you immediate and ubiquitous access to the workflows and data in Archibus including graphical and non-graphical reports, forms, and views. The Archibus Mobile Client delivers both live and semi-connected access to Archibus, while ensuring proper validation of transmitted data, oversight of field submissions, adherence to business rules and workflows, and compliance with your organization’s IT security policies.

To be able to use the Archibus Mobile Client, install it on your iPhone or iPad, then enter the URL your Archibus Administrator provided (e.g. "http:\archibusserver:8080"). If your site does not use single sign on, enter your Archibus credentials. The Archibus Mobile Client will then automatically install and load the features that your Archibus Administrator has enabled for your account.

The ARCHIBUS 4.0 Mobile Client has strong potential and is clearly backed by a powerful enterprise platform, but the iOS app itself is unstable and difficult to use reliably in real‑world conditions. The most significant issue is sync reliability. Sync frequently gets stuck, especially if the app is closed, backgrounded, or if network conditions change (Wi‑Fi, VPN, or cellular). When this happens, the app often becomes unusable — logging in results in a white progress bar that never completes, with no error message or recovery option. There is no way to reset sync or clear local data within the app. In many cases, the only way to recover is to delete and reinstall the app, which forces a full re‑sync. This is disruptive, time‑consuming, and not practical for users who rely on the app daily. Other challenges: • No resumable sync or rollback if a sync is interrupted • No clear error messages when something goes wrong • App does not handle iOS backgrounding well • Very sensitive to VPN drops or network changes When the app is working, it does what it’s supposed to do, but the lack of resilience makes it frustrating for production use. For an enterprise mobile application, basic features like sync recovery, error handling, and a reset option are essential and currently missing. Recommendation: Suitable only if users are prepared for frequent sync issues and reinstalls. Significant improvements are needed to make this app reliable on modern iOS devices.

This app should be dismissed from App Store. Possibly the worst ever! Heavy UX, never loads, works if you are lucky. Can’t list enough problems.
