Betwixt–The Story of You

The journeys this app take you on feel like interactive story time and yet every time I’m left with an aha moment or connection to childhood I’ve never made before. I’m in my forties and have done a let of inner work and therapy. The fact this app can uncover things I hadn’t realized before is amazing. And it’s quick and fun. When journey is like 10mins for me and I’m left with a wow. I do one per week and let it sit in my system.

Betwixt took me on one of the most beautiful, strange, and transformative journeys I have ever experienced. Every time I put on my headphones, I felt transported into another world. The sounds, storytelling, and dreamlike atmosphere were completely mesmerizing, but beneath all of that beauty was something much deeper. Betwixt led me into my own wounds, patterns, fears, and the reasons I sometimes struggle the way I do. There were times I did not want to return because the dreams asked me to face things about myself that were difficult. But I kept going, and I am incredibly grateful that I did. When I could no longer afford to continue, an anonymous donor paid for the rest of my journey. I may never know who that person was, but I hope they somehow know what their generosity meant to me. They gave me the chance to continue something that was genuinely helping me heal. Because of that kindness, and because of the extraordinary people who created Betwixt, I came out of this experience feeling stronger, calmer, more confident, and more connected to myself. It felt like stepping into my own NeverEnding Story and somehow finding my way back home to myself. I hope one day this experience becomes accessible to everyone who needs it.
