WeGuard Home is cheap and can connect to the scale and perform calculations, making it usable for tracking. However, reviews repeatedly flag localization and language problems, data accuracy concerns with rogue measurements and no delete option, unreliable Bluetooth connectivity, limited features (no export, hard-to-interpret graphs, inconsistent multi-user support), and weak customer service. Overall, it’s workable when it works, but reliability and data quality issues hinder long-term use.

Pros

Inexpensive entry point to features of more expensive body scales.
Connects to the scale and performs calculations (BMI, body fat, etc.).
Generally functional and usable for health tracking, enough to share results with a clinician.
Provides useful measurement data when the app is working as intended (weight, BMI, etc.).
Solid basic integration between the scale and the app.

Cons

Localization issues: broken English in the app and setup prompts, plus some Chinese text in error messages.
Data integrity problems: rogue/bogus measurements appear in history and there is no way to delete them.
Unreliable connectivity: Bluetooth often won’t stay connected or setup is confusing.
Missing/limited features: no easy export/print, graphs are hard to interpret (no zoom) and multi-user data is inconsistent.
Poor or unhelpful customer support.
