User Reviews

Paku is praised for its clean UI, fast performance, and rich local AQI data, with useful temperature/humidity readings and strong PurpleAir integration. Users also value allergy/pollen relevance and actionable features like alerts and widgets. However, crashes on startup or after updates, occasional data accuracy issues between map visuals and numeric values, and difficulty accessing bug reporting or support are recurring drawbacks that affect reliability and help access.
Pros
  • Clean, responsive iOS UI/UX design.
  • Displays temperature and humidity alongside air quality (AQI), providing richer context.
  • Excellent PurpleAir integration—easy to view your station and others.
  • Local, quick AQI readings with clear visualization and everyday usefulness.
  • Helpful for allergy management with hyperlocal sensor data.
Cons
  • Crashes on launch or after updates (e.g., on iPad or after iOS updates).
  • Data display inconsistencies: AQI values and map data can conflict (wrong location or mismatched readings).
  • Bug reporting/support is hard to find or unavailable.

While it’s great that they have a vast network in USA and parts of Europe their senses lack coverage in the Middle East, Africa and much of Asia. If they allowed for EPA and other reliable data sources, this app would be far more useful in those areas.

Clean, idiomatic iOS design. Performant, looks great, fair price. No complaints whatsoever.

Just found out that Paku sensors are in the settlements and all over the occupied territories. It’s shame companies have no morals anymore. When most of the world has refused this Israels blatant land grab that support aggressive settlers Paku finds it acceptable to sell and register their units in the site. Shame on them. I’ve blocked Peku and will throw the Paku sensor.
