User Reviews

Quitzilla helps users track days since quitting a habit with precise time logging and cross-device syncing. Users praise its simplicity and effectiveness across various addictions, but common complaints focus on pricing/monetization, free-tier limits, onboarding difficulties, and lack of data backup. Overall it offers strong daily accountability and progress insight, but could improve feature depth and data protection.
Pros
  • Keeps you motivated and on track with clear progress tracking
  • Easy to input and track time precisely (down to seconds) and syncs across devices
  • Versatile across many habits/addictions (alcohol, smoking, porn, etc.)
  • Straightforward and user-friendly to log and review progress
  • Provides daily accountability and timely reminders that help push through cravings
Cons
  • Premium pricing is expensive and inconsistent across platforms (iPhone vs Android)
  • Free tier limits you to only 2 habits unless you subscribe (monetization gating)
  • Some users report onboarding/usability issues and finding it hard to figure out how to use the app
  • No iCloud backup option increases risk of data loss when upgrading devices
  • Missing features like customizable abstinence intervals and lockscreen widgets; occasional misalignment of encouragement after a missed day

This app is now unusable since the new update. Everything looks ugly, the days and times make no sense, I can’t see my individual stats anymore. Logging time has become impossible, the save button doesn’t work. Not to mention this app costs $30 for it to not work. Everything used to be seemly and easy to use (and look at) but now just trying to log a new reset is nearly impossible. I wish I could get my money back.
