Eargo

I really like my Eargo devices and they serve me well for use in restaurants and theaters, but the forced updates that often come when they change this app can be quite frustrating. Too many times, out at an event, wanting to use this app to quickly tweak the volume or noise cancellation but I am not allowed to do it because the app is forcing me to update or login or both, requiring that I can receive an email to confirm that I am who I am. Geez - just want to run in whatever mode my Eargo devices were in yesterday, with the app just like it was yesterday, so I can go back to hearing the musical today. It’s beyond frustrating. I don’t know how these companies don’t understand customer expectations. Yes, notify me that there is an update that I can go and get, but please, please allow me to use my device in the meantime. Two full stars off my app rating for this reason alone. I’ll spend time describing the cool features of this app in the future if they ever get around to fixing this One Bad Thing.

Love this easy to use app. The app uses ultra sonic sound to communicate to the hearing aids so Bluetooth is not required to make adjustments to programs, volume and noise filters. Love the simplicity yet functionality of this app!
