It assists eligible passport holders in lodging an ETA for short-term tourism or business visits, and recommends applying well before travel; do not book travel until the ETA is granted. Notes: Australian citizens are ineligible to apply for an ETA. The extension includes support videos for passport scanning, reading ePassport data, and taking a live photo. An ETA application incurs a non-refundable AUD 20 service fee.
