Gamestar+ App&Play elevates Imagination Gaming’s TV show-inspired board games by adding official interactive appcessories. It supports Deal or No Deal Board Game, Family Fortunes Board Game UK, Supermarket Sweep Board Game UK, plus Feud Masters and Grocery Run. It’s a companion app, not a standalone game, and requires the corresponding physical board game.

A 3-day trial is offered; after that, a subscription is required. The app’s use is governed by the EULA and Privacy Policy.

User Reviews

Reviews largely condemn Gamestar+ as a paywalled companion that conflicts with box promises of a free app. Users report missing games, broken purchase flow, and buggy performance, preventing play after buying the physical games. A few note it can be fun and usable for Family Feud at least, suggesting potential if the app were reliable and properly priced. Overall, widespread misrepresentation and inconsistent functionality drive strong dissatisfaction.
Pros
  • Fun to play for family game nights when the app functions correctly.
  • Some games (e.g., Family Feud) are usable and can host a night.
  • The app has potential to support multiple party games alongside the physical box.
Cons
  • Requires a paid subscription despite packaging claiming the app is free (false advertising).
  • Many key games (Wheel of Fortune, Jeopardy) are not available in the app library, making the purchase ineffective.
  • Purchase flow is broken: purchases fail, cannot restore, and users are repeatedly prompted to subscribe.
  • The app is buggy or unresponsive at times (crashes, buttons don’t work).
  • Widespread perception that the product is a scam or fraudulent due to misleading marketing.

It's says free spinner and that is not true.

As a fan of Press Your Luck and Wheel Of Fortune, I was excited to get these games. With the app, at the time, it was awesome to have the Board and the Wheel, even if it’s just to screw around with and see the Whammy animations. It was also free (as listed on the games). Now, it only has Deal or No Deal and knock-off versions of Family Feud and Supermarket Sweep. Worse of all, it’s hidden behind a $4 annual paywall. If there is a Board and Wheel to use online or an app, go for that instead.
