The companion for “a message for the stars” delivers just what is needed, but a little bit more experience in the interface doesn’t hurt. The game apps simply doesn’t open at all.

There are no instructions on how to use the user interface for Mountain Goats and it is not at all intuitive. It seems impossible to control which dice you are grouping together. The camera angle is also terrible, makes the game difficult to see, and can’t be moved. I own the physical game and would be willing to pay for an app that actually worked…but this one doesn’t.

Game is fine, but I had to look up rules online. Also, moving dice to the top row would activate my notification menu on the iPhone which was very annoying.
