User Reviews

Users praise the app for its simple, focused design and solid workout tracking, with the ability to add custom exercises and track progress without clutter. The main downsides are a recent paywall that locks features and data behind a subscription, frequent stability issues (crashes, freezes, non-opening), and occasional data loss when the app crashes or updates. Some users also want a larger exercise library and more management options, such as a web-accessible version, to handle routines more easily. Overall, it’s valued for core functionality but hurt by reliability and monetization changes.
Pros
  • Simple, intuitive, lightweight design
  • Free to use initially with the ability to add custom exercises
  • Strong tracking and goal-setting for workouts
  • Focused, uncluttered interface without social features
Cons
  • Paywall and subscription lock features (e.g., price around $2.99/month or $25/year) and restricts data
  • Frequent crashes, freezes, and instability; some users can't open the app or log workouts
  • Risk of data loss when the app crashes or updates delete workouts
  • Limited exercise library; missing common exercises and desired features; requests for a web management option or more content

This is a go to app for fitness logging where I’m concerned !!!!

I love this app. It’s been a breeze tracking my progress in lifting. I was weary, only because most of these apps are not as advertised. It’s simple, it works how it’s supposed to and it keeps track of my PR’s. I wish it incorporated more stability workouts but that’s me nitpicking because I’ve finally incorporated more. Oh, it also has Smith-machine on there, not just barbell. Great app.
