Lately, when using the app in my 2026 Mini Cooper with Apple CarPlay (connected to my iPhone 15 Plus (iOS 26.5.2) in conjunction with Waze, the display in the Mini dash goes from the normal looking map that displays the route clearly, to a sort of diffuse grey/white cloud displaying nothing. The display will look normal on my iPhone while this is happening, but the Mini’s display through Apple CarPlay is completely useless. The only thing that makes it go back to looking the way it should is closing & then reopening the Waze app on my phone. This is a dangerous fix to perform while driving, but it happens DURING the drive sometimes. I alerted Waze to the problem & will also alert Apple/CarPlay as well. Please tell me if there’s an easy way to stop this from happening. It really can be potentially quite dangerous, & all of my apps, software & operating systems are up to date, using the latest versions. For some reason this has been happening a LOT in the past month or two. Thanks, Mary Birdsong
