The Volkswagen app is the official digital companion for your Volkswagen. It provides mobile online services across models and contracts (VW Connect, We Connect, or Car-Net) and lets you manage essential in-car functions from your phone, including vehicle range, climate control, and locating charging or fueling stations.

Key capabilities include vehicle status checks (locked, lights off), sending destinations to your car, viewing the last parking position, storing trusted workshops, and reviewing Vehicle Health. You can monitor remaining range and charge remotely, manage charging plans with We Charge, and access features that vary by your vehicle configuration and market. A Volkswagen ID account is required, and some functions depend on your contract (VW Connect, VW Connect Plus, We Connect, or We Connect Plus) and software version.
