User Reviews

MoneyWiz 2026 is highly valued for its strong forecasting, reliable cross‑device syncing, and rich budgeting features, backed by long-term use and solid support. However, users frequently call out pricing changes that push features into a higher tier, inconsistent bank syncing, and limited reporting customization, along with occasional stability issues after updates. Overall sentiment is positive with notable caveats around cost, data connections, and post-update quality.
Pros
  • Accurate and actionable cash flow forecasting and future balance projections that help with debt payoff and budgeting.
  • Excellent cross‑device syncing across macOS and iOS, keeping data consistent on all devices.
  • Robust budgeting features (scheduling, recurring transactions, forecast graphs and custom reports) that support complex money management.
  • Strong, responsive customer support and ongoing updates (notably praised by users).
  • Long track record and reliability, with years of use and continuous improvements.
Cons
  • Pricing changes and premium-tier gating: higher fees, features moved to Premium without clear warning, reducing perceived value.
  • Bank account linking/sync reliability: accounts are often not accurately linked or some banks are not supported.
  • Reporting/export limitations: limited ability to customize or export reports, reducing flexibility for users who rely on tailored outputs.
  • Post-update stability issues: crashes, performance problems, or UI glitches after updates.

Upon further review the other apps out there just aren’t as good. They are also charging the same amount of money. I will re-review in a couple days.

I purchased MoneyWiz 2026 tonight. I have been using Quicken for 20 years. I hoped that MoneyWiz could solve some of the accuracy issues in my Investment Brokerage account synchronization. Specifically I am looking for Capital Gains/Losses reporting. I actively trade and have many buy/sell transactions. The MoneyWiz product does NOT do any Capital Gains Reporting. I am very disappointed.
