Do you ever wonder how much nutrition to take during your workouts? EatMyRide is the #1 nutrition app for endurance athletes. From planning nutrition to evaluating your intake and from carbohydrates for performance to proteins for swift recovery: it’s all in there.

CREATE PERSONALIZED FUELING PLANS

Get a personalized nutrition and drink plan for all your workouts. You can sync your TrainingPeaks workouts or routes from Strava, Komoot or RideWithGPS. EatMyRide calculates how much you need and creates a planning with the products of your choice. When you have planned your workout EatMyRide also gives you advice what to eat before and after the exercise.

GET REALTIME INSIGHTS ON YOUR GARMIN

The nutrition plan can be synced to your Garmin device to get realtime notifications during the workout. If you want to know your carb burn and intake in realtime you can use the carbohydrate Burn / Intake Balancer on your Garmin.

SYNC YOUR ACTIVITIES AND GET INSIGHT INTO YOUR BURN AND INTAKE

After your exercise the activity is automatically synced from Strava, Wahoo or Garmin to EatMyRide. Get detailed insight into your carbohydrate burn and nutrition intake and learn how you could improve. Enhance your recovery using the personalized recovery meal advice.

TRACK YOUR PROGRESS

Training the gut is important for fanatic athletes. This means that you learn the body to get used to high carbohydrate intake. This in its turn helps to improve your performance. With EatMyRide you can track your progress and know exactly whether you are on track to perform optimally during your race or event.

LEARN YOUR FLUID REQUIREMENTS

Sufficient energy and proper hydration form the basis of optimal performance during exercise. Test your sweat loss and know how much fluids you need to replenish during all workouts.

User Reviews

EatMyRide is valued for strong Garmin integration, real-time fueling insights, and customizable metrics, plus responsive support and solid workflow with TrainingPeaks/Strava routes. However, reviewers note a clunky UI and slow workflow for planning and manual food entry. The food database is limited and hard to expand (no barcode scanning). Integrations with Strava, Wahoo, TrainerRoad/Zwift are incomplete or unstable. There are reliability issues (login problems) and some bugs like elevation editing not working.
Pros
  • Garmin integration is easy and works well
  • Real-time fueling insights with customizable metrics (metabolism, glycogen, race readiness)
  • Responsive customer support and updates
  • Easy to add your own items to the database
  • Compatibility with training workflows and routes (TrainingPeaks and Strava)
Cons
  • Clunky UI and slow workflow for planning/food entry
  • Limited food database and slow manual entry (no barcode scanning)
  • Incomplete/unstable integrations with Strava, Wahoo, TrainerRoad/Zwift
  • Reliability issues like login problems and occasional bugs
  • Elevation planning/editing bugs when routing

I really wanted to like this app. The nutrition app space for cycling is a bit limited. I only tried using the app for two days because it doesn’t seem possible to add premade liquid beverages (coconut water); for some reason the app assumes that any product you add is a power added to water. How are the coke drinking cyclist using this app?
