User Reviews

Overall, users find Heart Rate Monitor - Pulse HR easy to use and privacy-friendly, but the app is heavily criticized for its subscription model, high price, and paid features. Repeated complaints include inaccurate readings and BP feature issues, ongoing paywalls, difficulty canceling, and misrepresentation of free use. While some praise ease of use and value for casual tracking, concerns center on value, reliability, and subscription management.

Pros

Fast and easy to use
Good value for casual health monitoring (affordable)
Keeps your data private and stores emergency health information on the device
Positive overall sentiment in several reviews (e.g., 'Great')

Cons

High-cost subscription with little to no free use; paywalls are a major complaint
Inaccurate readings and missing/ non-working blood pressure feature
Difficulty canceling subscriptions or finding cancellation options during or after trial
App reliability issues and feature restrictions that require payment to access basic functions

Recent reviews

Download for ‘free’ but can’t get past welcome screen without paying or 3 day free trial. The app description mentions PRO subscription options that makes it seem like you can use some or part of the app free, but that’s not it - there is nothing except the 3 day trial to even get past the first page. Sorry but that’s deceptive.
