PhoneAmp turns your iPhone into a portable amplifier with built-in effects, including a 10-band EQ, reverb with multiple presets, a delay, and distortion. It also lets you record and share your sound with the same preset effects, making it easy to compare tones or share ideas.

Designed for acoustic instruments like guitar, ukulele, and violin, you can play and listen through headphones and the built-in microphone. If you want to connect an external mic or instrument, you’ll need an appropriate adapter. Note that sound quality depends on your iPhone model, mic, and headphones, and latency can occur with Bluetooth devices. For best performance, wired headphones are recommended. In the free version, PhoneAmp runs a 10-minute/hour limit and 40-second recording cap; a one-time lifetime unlock removes these limits—this is not a recurring subscription.
