Barouche

Barouche is a four-player trick-taking card game played with a standard deck minus 2s, 3s, and 4s. Four players form two teams, partners sit opposite, and a widow sits in the middle with four cards. An auction bidding starts at 30 to name the trump suit; the high bidder exchanges cards with the widow and leads the first trick.

During tricks, Aces are high; 5s are worth 5 points, and 10s and Aces are worth 10 points. The high bidder's team must meet or exceed its bid. This guide covers setup, bidding, playing tricks, and scoring to help you learn Barouche and start playing.
