User Reviews

Users praise the app for being simple, effective, and affordable, with per-tab refresh timings and a usable custom interval feature. However, recurring complaints focus on reliability issues after updates, inconsistent performance across devices (notably iPad and iOS 17), unclear on/off indicators, and limited timing options with no countdown or keyboard input. Installation/settings can be confusing, and several reviews report the extension failing to start or stay connected. Overall, strong concept and potential when it functions, but maintenance and cross-device reliability are major concerns.
Pros
  • Simple, easy to use and effective
  • Per-tab timing with different refresh intervals
  • Custom interval override feature (tap timer to set 1 second to 10 minutes)
  • Easy to turn on / start and good value
Cons
  • Reliability and compatibility issues after updates; start button sometimes does nothing and extension can stop working on some devices
  • Unclear status indicators on/off (no clear countdown; red On bubble can be confusing)
  • Limited and non-precise timing options (no keyboard entry; no countdown; preset intervals like 1s/5s/10s only)
  • Setup/installation and settings are confusing; reports of iPad/iOS 17 issues and being stuck on 'turn on extension in settings' messages

The recent update fixes several bugs and adds the custom interval override feature. Just tap on the timer for the keyboard to enter a custom interval between 1 second and 10 minutes.

This used to work well on my old iPad but the latest update is broken. The start button doesn’t seem to do anything anymore 😔
