MyDiabetic

MyDiabetic is an educational game for children with type 1 diabetes and anyone who wants to know more about it. The game helps the children to understand the disease and provides necessary knowledge for correct compensation of diabetes.

The goal is to take care of a character with type 1 diabetes. You will learn how to apply insulin, estimate its dosage, measure the blood glucose, count carbs and much more. You can discover what happens with your body in hypo or hyper glycemic state.

At the beginning you will have support of a guide which will advice you, for example how to modify insulin dosage or how to treat hypo or hyper glycemia. The game has an integrated simulator of glucose-insulin interaction.

You will earn virtual coins for finishing special tasks. For these coins you can upgrade the character, buy them new clothes or furniture and unlock more sophisticated means to treat diabetes.
