Not compatible with brand new Kenwood dmx8709s!!! Never buying Kenwood again!!!

Phone has to be connected with app open to display photos. I spent an hour “uploading” photos from my phone to my Wife’s stereo, only to find that when I unplug my phone the photos go away. I can do this again on my Wife’s phone, but she’ll have to open the app or keep it open to see photos. Kinda like the stereo doesn’t have a Storage location of its own.
