User Reviews

User reviews show Ultrahuman's app can be strong when it works, but reliability issues are common: battery life and charging problems, frequent ring-app disconnects, and inaccurate tracking data. Support responsiveness varies, with some positive experiences and replacements, but many reports of slow or ineffective assistance. Updates can bring bugs. Overall, stability and data accuracy are the main improvements users are seeking.
Pros
  • Strong, helpful customer service with hardware replacements when issues arise.
  • The app interface and overall experience look polished and intuitive when functioning.
  • Some users appreciate Ultrahuman not requiring a subscription for core features.
  • When issues are resolved, support often restores usability and data quickly.
Cons
  • Slow, inconsistent customer support with long wait times for chat or email responses.
  • Ring battery drains quickly and charging can fail, with reports of swelling in some units.
  • Frequent connectivity problems between the ring and the app, causing data gaps.
  • Tracking data (sleep, steps, ovulation) is often inaccurate or unreliable.
  • App/firmware updates introduce bugs, instability, and notification/CarPlay issues.

I really wanted to love the UltraHuman Ring because, honestly, when it works, it’s amazing. I loved being able to track my sleep, recovery, activity, and step count in such a sleek, comfortable ring format. The app itself is clean, and I was genuinely a huge fan in the beginning. However after a year of using it and going through multiple replacement ring, I am extremely disappointed with long term reliability and customer support policies. Here are my biggest issues: - Ovulation Tracking is inaccurate: I originally relied on the rings ovulation tracking but after comparing them to ovulation test strips, UH was way off. - Ring stops working every 3-4 months: By “stopped working” I mean randomly disconnecting from my phone and refuse to reconnect no matter what I try. To UH CREDIT: they replaced 3-4 rings for me at no charge - at least during my first year after purchase since my ring was still under warranty. - After multiple replacements, they refuse any refund or meaningful solution: My fourth or fifth ring eventually broke again around 13 months after the original purchase. At that point I was honestly over constant replacements and wanted a refund instead of yet another ring. I was told my 12 month warranty expired, so I could not receive - a refund - a partial refund - or any meaningful compensation The only offer I got was to get a credit towards another upgraded ring. Overall I think the UH ring has a great concept with meaningful insight when it comes to workouts and sleep while it functions properly. But long term durability is terrible. Unfortunately, I’m just going to eat the cost and start looking for a different fitness tracker.

Recently, the app added in “Jade”, an unnecessary AI system that literally reads the same information you can read yourself that cannot be turned off. No matter how you have the settings, you will still get alerts sent by “Jade” to “help decode body signals”. I get that the developers think that we’re all complete morons that need to have the information spoon fed to us, but adding this is a waste of time, phone space, battery use, fresh water, and power. Remove this unnecessary part or lose this and many other users permanently.

I bought this ring since I don’t want BT when I sleep. Yet is the flight mode activation/deactivation so bugged. Does not wake up anymore now since days. Putting it to FM sometimes also took 10x
