2023-02-15	Te*****	This app has a lot of things going for it but it’s not quite there in terms of being able to call itself a professional pixel editor. There are several major oversights regarding having a pleasant workflow as well as the lack of some basic tools one would expect to find in a $10 pixel art app. As mentioned in the other review, selecting colors is an unintuitive, almost-painful process that seriously inhibits creativity/productivity. There is no straight line tool, nor are there any tools for drawing basic primitives. There are some UX oddities - layers are hidden in their own menu making them cumbersome to work with. I’d love to see this app reach its full potential - especially as it has some features I haven’t found in any other pixel art apps in the App Store, namely the ability to generate blob tilesets - although I’m not totally certain this feature has been implemented correctly. Nevertheless, generating tilesets straight from the iPad would be really awesome. I really hope the developer puts in some serious effort to get this where it deserves to be - it could be one of the best if the many issues were worked out.
