Only my first day. it definitely gathered some good data. But it has some flaws. 1. Stop asking me to subscribe after I already paid for it 2. Allow me to stop scanning once I’ve reeled it back in. Let me cast and start it back up. 3. Sometimes the depth bar at the top just disappears and I can’t figure out how to get it back. I had to close the app and reopen.

I found the app to be difficult. I used to be able to just toss it in the water, connect and go. Now it wants me to buy a premium just to link it back to my phone. Also I find mine has a ton of interference while ice fishing and a delayed by seconds response. When it was new it was spot on and quick but it seems anymore that’s not the case. Battery life has always been about 6 hours of time during ice fishing of consistent use. (I didn’t think was too bad at all for as little as it is) I’m going to say the life time use of these is probably 4 years before it’s time to upgrade or buy something else. This isn’t a bad tool to have, I used it a lot for my ice fishing but it seems the killer for these is the app.
