With this app, you can connect and setup one or more sensors, continuously monitor temperature and humidity, get notifications when the temperature or humidity is out of range, store a virtually unlimited history, and export data in CSV format.

This device seems great. Thr app and sensor is designed well and do exactly what they say they are going to do… BUT, I bet 99% of users are bummed to learn that it doesn’t send an alert when your away. I’m a florist, and I really want an alert when my fridge gets too cold and my flowers are about to freeze.

It does what it says but the alert feature is annoying; it repeats every 30mins and there’s no setting for frequency. It would be nice to be able to tell it how many times you want the alert repeated. I just want to know when a certain temp is reached so I can open or close my windows accordingly but I get notified every 30mins thereafter also; I don’t need that. I just need to know once and there should be a setting for that. If the temp at the last alert was also outside the goal, then suppress the alert. AS a tempi.fi user WHEN I want to be alerted to a temp goal, THEN I want to choose the alert frequency of the alerts that follow.

The product works great, and so does the app. A few things I would change is have the sensor take readings every 5 minutes or 0 minutes instead of every minute. Also not liking the banner reminding people that notifications are turned off, takes up too much screen space.
