Features & Capabilities

SensorPush lets you monitor temperature and humidity with ease. Pair the app with SensorPush Smart Sensors and the G1 WiFi Gateway to access current and historical data anywhere via our cloud service. The interface offers current conditions, time-series views, and distribution charts to reveal prevalent ranges and past extremes over any period.

Configure desired condition ranges and alerts so you are notified of changes on your iOS device. Even when you’re away, data is pushed to your device upon return, and you can export your entire history to CSV for analysis in Numbers, Excel, or other data apps. Perfect for homes, instrument collections, and valuables vulnerable to mold, moisture, or spoilage.

User Reviews

SensorPush is praised for solid hardware with long battery life and clear data presentation: graphs across timeframes, color-coded alerts, and remote access via the gateway. The app is clean and functional when it works. However, many reviews report reliability problems: the iOS app crashes, alerts fail or are inconsistent, and some sensors stop updating. Some units drift or die over time. A recurring issue is that remote alerts require a Wi‑Fi gateway, and there are UX gaps like lack of widgets/HomeKit/Watch support and no easy way to manually sort devices. Overall, hardware is strong but software reliability needs work.
Pros
  • Robust hardware with long battery life.
  • Comprehensive data visualization and alerting (graphs across multiple timeframes, color-coded alerts).
  • Gateway enables remote access and web-based monitoring.
  • Clean and functional app experience.
Cons
  • App instability and crashes during use (e.g., after replacing a battery, the app loads and crashes).
  • Alerts/notifications are unreliable or inconsistent (missed out-of-range alerts, unpredictable triggering).
  • Some sensors stop updating or become nonfunctional over time (data stops updating or single samples).
  • Remote alerts require buying and using the Wi-Fi gateway (extra cost and limitation).
  • UI/UX gaps: lack of widgets/HomeKit/Apple Watch integration and limited device sorting/control.

These things were great for the longest time. I probably have 20 of them. Suddenly, today, after replacing the battery in one temperature sensor, the entire app loads and crashes loads and crashes loads and crashes. sigh

Love this thing, I like to use it for weather, so it would be nice if you could track the rate of change on the sensor data, would be helpful in determining rapidly changing conditions.

Unfortunately all sensors stopped working. First it was older models. Now all of them do not work. When you remove and add a sensor, it gets one sample and then fails to update. All of them get stuck with one sample.
