Brickit: Your Brick Collection

Scan, sort, create fun builds

Overview

Features & Capabilities

Brickit App helps you turn your brick collection into new creations. Spread out your bricks, snap a photo, and Brickit scans the image to identify and count each piece. It suggests build ideas based on what you have—ranging from robots to X-Wings—and provides accessible, step-by-step instructions that you can adapt to your own style.

A handy catalog feature helps you locate bricks quickly: tap a detail and the app highlights it in your pile and in the build instructions. Note that Brickit is a fan-made app and not an official LEGO product; optional Brickit Pro subscriptions offer extra features, with standard auto-renewal terms. Privacy policy and license terms apply.

User Reviews

Brickit is a fun, idea-generating app that suggests builds from photos of LEGO bricks and helps you use a large collection. Users love the inspiration, but report stability issues after updates, data-backups problems, and frustration with paid Pro features. Scan results can be inaccurate, and sign-in/family-plan issues complicate access. Overall, it's a valuable concept that works for many, but reliability and pricing hold it back for others.
Pros
  • Generates build ideas from photos of LEGO bricks.
  • Fun and engaging way to use and explore a large LEGO collection.
  • Scans provide actionable build suggestions to help utilize pieces.
  • Inspires creativity and offers variety in LEGO builds.
Cons
  • Frequent crashes and instability, especially after updates.
  • Data backup/sync issues and loss of scans; backups are hard to import/export.
  • Monetization concerns: short free trials and reliance on expensive Pro features.
  • Scan accuracy can be unreliable, with misdetections and dependence on exact piece availability.
  • Sign-in and family-plan problems affecting cross-device access.

I’m gonna start telling you things I don’t like about it you can only scan three times and also if you scan sometimes it thinks you have pieces that you don’t have it if you wanna build something and you don’t have it then you can’t build it not cool but the part where it stands is cool but I think you can build like five you can actually build only thing I like about it is it scans your Legos and tells you what you could’ve built that you didn’t know you could it’s not that good I hope it can change these things whoever made this, please, please fix these parts about this and please, I want a respond in the developer, you are responding to a lot of 1 Star reviews and two star reviews because you need to improve your game. You look at the app you look at the pictures you’re like this is a cool game. I want to buy it you buy it and it’s not like the pictures make it like the pictures I went on YouTube and I also found a video with his kid scanned his Legos and he made some pretty small stuff I want to make big stuff with the Legos I have all the Legos I have just shows really tiny things except for the Minecraft thing I really liked Minecraft but it showed something I did not have really annoying I hope the developer looks at this message and knows to fix all of this don’t know how there are mostly five star reviews and four-star, and I definitely get why there are more one stars than two stars and I found another game that was called Brickit with the same logo and it was $80 first $80 game I’ve seen absolutely crazy a five star game. I don’t think it’s even $80 and I’m nine years old. It’s crazy that I’m saying this because I’m nine years old. I hope the developer can fix all of this. this is more of a 2 1/2 star game definitely fix this😡😩
