Users like the fresh UI and the live energy flow view, but repeatedly report unreliable server connections, missing or wrong data after updates, and limited core features (cost data, per-string data, exports, alerts). The Sunny Portal transition and UI changes have caused data visibility and login issues for many. Overall, core monitoring is appreciated when available, but reliability and feature gaps are the main negatives.

UI overhaul issues since Sunny Portal transition: users report not seeing data or old data after changes and ongoing sync/login problems.

This app is busted. It simply no longer works. I have a solar system that is less than a year old. The app worked fine in October, but for for well over a month now it fails to connect to the servers every time. Zero success rate, zero data, zero usability. On my desktop web browser I can log in to the ennexos sunnyportal page and see my system and data, so clearly my system and the SMA ssrvers are communicating just fine. The problem seems to be this app no longer can communicate with the SMA servers. No idea what they broke, why they broke it, and why it is taking so long to fix but I expect better from an established company like SMA.

I have what I assume is a fairly normal system with two inverters generating 220. The history and the graph on the app is correct but of course it only updates every 10 minutes and doesn’t store any other information. However, the app also shows the live output and that almost always is half of the current power being generated I assume because it’s only showing me the output of one of the inverters. It would be nice if the system could give the power from each of the strings attached to each inverter and had a diagram of the array showing which strings are generating the most power at the moment
