Features & Capabilities

Republic gives you power to invest in the future you believe in by providing access to startups, real estate, and gaming investments. The Chrome extension makes these opportunities available to anyone 18+—no matter your experience level—with options to invest directly using Apple Pay or a credit card. You’ll find curated deals with transparent standards across diverse industries, enabling you to build a diversified portfolio and participate in growth at all stages.

The extension is an extension of the Republic Site, operated by OpenDeal Inc. It is not a registered broker-dealer, funding portal, or investment adviser, and it does not provide investment advice or endorsements. All securities are offered by the issuer; terms and privacy policies apply. Some deals may restrict eligibility or location, and investments carry significant risks, including loss of invested capital.

User Reviews

Reviews praise the app for its intuitive UI, access to deals, and beginner-friendly investment tools, plus a positive view of its mission to democratize startup investing. However, recurring complaints center on reliability and investor experience: login/authentication problems, frequent crashes, no easy way to sell investments, slow support, and mobile/device usability issues. Overall sentiment is mixed: strong enthusiasm for the concept and opportunities, overshadowed by reliability and usability frustrations.

This app won’t allow me to log in. Started using 2 factor authentication with no prompt or even telling you how the verification is sent ! Now I’ve lost my account & investments !

This app is disappointing. It’s glitchy, confusing and it’s nearly impossible to track the companies I invested in. They launched a tracking feature but it doesn’t even load when you switch to horizontal view. This is really unacceptable you guys have been a public platform for years now. Get it together and grind for your users
