ZOE Health: AI Meal Tracker

This used to be an intuitive, easy app to understand the health impact of various food choices singley and in context of a meal, a day and a week. Now they have replaced an easy to understand dial with a random and meaningless bean collection on a road, and the easy food search function has been replaced by a photo function that is sometimes accurate and often unreliable. It now forces you to choose a goal and then reminds you of your (forced) goal every darn time you log anything, which slows down the logging process. The app is bloated with all kinds of nonsense that makes it difficult to find the functions you need. Bummer, because the old version of the app was fantastic.

I went through all the initial questions and then tried to create an account. I kept getting error messages. I tried every method for creating an account, and none of them worked. I was excited to try this, but this does not give me confidence that the app will work well.

Hate the new app, have been using Zoe for years and find this new version awful. Too hard to easily scan barcodes to check food when shopping. I cook from scratch a lot and loved being able to scan and easily adjust recipes. This new version feels like it’s trying to be gamified version. I dislike it so much that I have cancelled my membership
