V-ZUG GuidedCooking

With the V-ZUG GuidedCooking app, you can connect selected V-ZUG induction hobs with suitable cookware from our partner Kuhn Rikon. The app helps you out with your everyday cooking and also on special occasions – EasyCook ensures your food is perfectly cooked. The recipe collection contains lots of tasty dishes.

For recipes, you are guided step by step through the preparation and cooking process. For EasyCook, you can see the relevant quantities and sizing information. Once you have filled the cookware as recommended, you launch the cooking assistant and the GuidedCooking app takes over – for perfect results. If you want to change the pre-defined cooking time, you have the option to do so. During the cooking process, the app shows you which phase it's in: heating up, cooking or cooling/soft cooking – with the estimated duration for each. And if you want to run several cooking processes at the same time, the cooking zone manager clearly displays all the cooking zones and their statuses.

Inspiration:

Browse through the clearly arranged recipe database and be inspired. All EasyCook functions and recipes are labelled to show you what type of Kuhn Rikon cookware they are suitable for. Details of the approximate preparation time and difficulty level help you choose. Clearly structured lists of ingredients simplify shopping and preparation.

Cookware:

GuidedCooking works with suitable Kuhn Rikon cookware. The DUROMATIC © Comfort pressure cooker is available in three sizes, as is the HOTPAN © Comfort thermo-cookware, for which the insulating bowl comes in six attractive colours.

Notifications: When a GuidedCooking recipe is finished, you receive an audible notification. Push notifications also provide you with important information. If your smartphone or tablet leaves the hob’s standard reception range, you are warned audibly and with notifications before GuidedCooking mode ceases.

Settings: Rapid access to all the basic GuidedCooking settings for connecting the app with the induction hob and selecting the available Kuhn Rikon saucepans. You can set the temperature to °C or °F as well as specifying the altitude above sea level and the required language.

Software updates:

Always up to date! You are informed as soon as a software update is available for your device. Updates are installed directly from within the app.
