Why do I need to set up an account in order to see the temperature of my food? And why should I have to have WiFi and be close? What about camping for example? I’ll stick to a simple insta-thermometer because this simplifies nothing.

I’ve tried a lot of wireless brands and this one is extremely accurate on temp readings. I’m glad we got 3 of them and honestly we probably could use another 3. I like the fact that you can set temperatures and alerts three different probes. Each one individual individually operates on its own. Downside is Tin foil interferes with the Bluetooth and wireless signals so keep that in mind when wrapping your shoulders or briskets.
