User Reviews

Reviews consistently cite reliability problems (frequent crashes, inaccurate logs), heavy battery drain, and slow loading as major downsides. UI is often described as chaotic and hard to use, with essential actions buried. Integration gaps (CarPlay/Apple Watch) and widget issues compound the friction. While users see the concept's promise and occasional success when features work (e.g., spaceships), these positives are outweighed by persistent reliability and usability flaws for daily use in multi-tenant buildings.
Pros
  • Enables door/gate access from the iPhone, centralizing access control (core feature).
  • Represents an innovative, promising approach to building access with potential for improvement.
  • Some features (like the 'spaceship' mode) are appealing when functioning.
Cons
  • Frequent crashes and unreliable unlocking; door activity logs often dont update or reflect real events.
  • Significant battery drain on devices due to the apps background activity.
  • Very slow loading times and delays when launching the app or selecting access points.
  • Chaotic, unintuitive UI with buried controls and difficult navigation.
  • Lack of CarPlay/Apple Watch support and missing integrations (shortcuts/Siri) for hands-free use.

Location shouldn't need to be always on to work at all. Please add carplay. Such a slow app to load

I can’t even access my apartment or anything because the app immediately crashes. How tf is this even allowed on the App Store???

This app is genuinely one of the most poorly executed systems I’ve been forced to use. It does not reliably track basic door activity—who is entering, when it’s being unlocked, or what method is used. For something tied directly to building security, that failure is not a small bug, it’s a fundamental breakdown. It removes any sense of trust or safety the system is supposed to provide. The loading time is absurd. There is no justification for an access app that moves this slowly. Sitting through splash screens and delays just to perform a basic entry function is infuriating and completely impractical. It turns something essential into an unnecessary obstacle. The design is chaotic and unintuitive. Nothing is placed where you expect it to be, and even simple actions feel buried or inconsistent. On top of that, the connectivity is unreliable—dropping, failing to sync, or requiring Bluetooth in a way that makes the system feel half-functional and poorly engineered. Overall, this feels like a product that was rushed out without proper testing in real-world conditions. It does not meet even the most basic expectations for a secure building access tool. For something that residents depend on daily, the level of unreliability is unacceptable and honestly embarrassing.
