Features & Capabilities

Cheat Day helps you eat out without guessing by letting you browse menus from 800+ restaurants, filter by nutrition (protein, fiber, carbs, sodium, calories, and more), view detailed nutrition facts, and compare two items side-by-side to pick the best option for your goals.

Log meals to your tracker to stay on track. Built for real life—whether you're cutting, bulking, balancing macros, watching sodium, or just aiming for smarter 'cheat' choices. Note: nutrition data comes from restaurants and may change; always double-check allergies or dietary needs. Nutrition tracking and visualization require a subscription. User Reviews

Users praise Cheat Day for helping find low-sodium and diet-friendly options, broad restaurant coverage, and ad-free nutrition data that aids dieting and carb counting. However, recurring issues include a paid subscription model, data inaccuracies and outdated menus, and UX friction from updates that require sign-in. These factors drive mixed sentiment: appreciated functionality and simplicity by many, but frustration over price and data reliability among frequent users.
Pros
  • Helps find low-sodium options and supports diet-restricted eating.
  • Ad-free and free to use; simple interface with no gimmicks.
  • Broad restaurant coverage with nutrition/macros data, aiding calorie tracking.
  • Reduces stress when dining out and supports dieting/weight management.
  • Helpful for carb counting and diabetes management.
Cons
  • Forced paywall/subscription for features that were free, with many customers unhappy about price increases.
  • Nutrition data often inaccurate or outdated, with mismatches to official restaurant data.
  • Recent updates add sign-in requirements and extra steps, reducing usability.
  • Menus/items are outdated or discontinued, affecting data freshness.
  • Occasional bugs or the app failing to open.

used to looove this app bc it was so easy to check nutrition info on fast food but now you need a subscription bc they wanted to turn it into a food tracker lol? if I wanted to track my intake there are hundreds of free ways to do that

Used to love this app since it was convenient to use on the daily. I tried downloading it again, but was met with a paywall. This app is absolutely NOT worth paying for since it saves you a few minutes at most.
