The Disney Collect! by Topps app was beloved for its Disney-themed card collecting and trading. A recent update has sparked widespread frustration due to a heavy redesign, worse navigation, and reduced Disney charm, paired with aggressive monetization and new trade restrictions. Players report frequent crashes, crafting limitations, and fewer free progression options. While the core concept and social trading remain, the experience has become more expensive, unstable, and less enjoyable for long-time players.

Pros

Disney/Pixar licensed characters and a whimsical Disney feel underpin the collecting/trading concept.
The core collecting and trading mechanic remains engaging for fans of Disney characters.

Cons

Major update/ redesign ruins UX: harder to navigate, less Disney charm, cluttered interface.

Crafting changes remove batch crafting and coin-based crafting, increasing grind and reducing convenience.
Content and card release pace has slowed; fewer new cards and more paywalled content.

Love this app and all the Topps Collect apps but without a doubt my hands down favorite is Topps Total Football because you can collect cards and parallels that can actually be printed! They all have a limited run of /99 max except numbered cards which are numbered to the number on the card (i.e. /75 has only 75 physical copies that can be redeemed) I have a ton of Legendaries in this app but I don't really see the point in continuing to buy them and buy packs because what do i really do with an /5 digital copy of a card that only lives inside this one app? I'm sure people would be happy to pay for the printing fees (I know I've gladly paid to have many TTF cards) I don't understand why all the other collect apps don't do this and I highly suggest that Topps and the developers strongly consider adding this feature to all Topps Collect apps.

The app is great n’ all but, when you decide to do a trade nobody wants to accept it and when it says “declined” you can’t get rid of it. Then it says “expired” you can’t get rid of it either. I’m already dealing with a lot of greedy traders in this app and I can’t stand it. Another thing, when you have this new feature “instant trade” how come it can’t accept golden gallery, mirrored memories, daily Disney cards every month every time you “accidentally” missed a day or two ESPECIALLY the super rares, etc? One other thing, how come you don’t reward both coins and diamond each time I come back to the app? It’s both fair and unfair.
