Transparent Language Online is a Chrome extension that lets you take your language learning with you. It requires a Transparent Language Online account to use—simply log in with your existing username and password on the app's login screen. With this extension, you can access 100+ languages, Alphabet Lessons, topic-based vocabulary, and core skill-building activities (listening, speaking, reading, writing) right in your browser. It also provides Smart Insight and Review to show your progress and determine when to review learned items.

Privacy is built into the app. The extension follows the Transparent Language Online privacy guidelines: optional name and phone for alerts; email used for password recovery and notifications; anonymized pronunciation recordings stored briefly for Sound Analysis; and optional user-created lessons. After seeing my local library offered this app I decided to try it. Compared to other language apps, I love how it offers more languages dialects that can be studied and really drags out you fixing your mistakes until you learn them. UI feels old but it works for me!

Transparent rocks. The only thing that disappoints is the keyboard. If it could use the native iOS keyboard that would be stellar. Even still, this is only a minor blemish on its overall functionality.
