Language Transfer

I’m only 4 lessons into the Spanish course and have learned more than on any other app I’ve tried. It goes further into learning rather than just memorizing words. Looking forward to trying the other courses!

I’ve completed the Complete Spanish and Intro Italian courses and have begun German. I became practically addicted to listening to the lessons, always pausing, repeating out loud, and thinking alongside the student. The pacing is perfect. I had always felt very discouraged beginning learning a new language. I’d get bored being talked to like a baby and learning isolated phrases without feeling any progress. Despite loving learning Mandarin, I found myself unable to dedicate myself to other languages. Learning Spanish felt far harder than learning Mandarin, which I found strange as a native English speaker. I believe this is because Mihalis’s Language Transfer method does something almost no others do: it takes advantage of the similarities between languages. The early steps don’t feel horrifically slow. Almost immediately, you develop a large enough vocabulary to play around with the language. You’re immediately forming full grammatical sentences. If you’re tired of feeling that no matter how much grammar you learn, you still find yourself confused by the structure of the language itself, this is absolutely what you need.

I downloaded this app because Duolingo was kind of annoying because of the money and I’ve been wanting an app that teaches you really fast and I already know a lot of German
